Textscope is a one-man company dedicated to exploring and exploiting textual material in digital form. As the sole proprietor, I am endeavoring to developing technologies in that are both exciting in a research sense and of practical use in the real world. I believe that many organizations would benefit from specialized human language technology, tools that could search, analyze and summarize collections of texts.

Until recently, I was an academic researcher, but have decided to strike out on my own. You can read about my past, how I began an academic career relatively late and what I did before on my Columbia University web page. I hope to begin offering some nifty software later this year, with demos as appropriate.
